Government is making its best efforts to get the party men in right spirit, not just verbally but by implementing it even, when Indian Express pointed out (asking Me. Shashi Tharoor & S M Krisha - external affairs minister)....why they are staying in 5star luxury) the "luxury life style" few ministers are still enjoying when india is going through the "recession" & "drought" ...., still few ministers r spending lacks of rupees om renovating offices, when party president Soniya Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi..and many others are keen to fallow and change the life style...., here comes Mr. Shahi Tharoor commenting , TAUNT rather,poking fun of the current austerity drive, when asked "Tell us minister, next time you travel to Kerala, will it be cattle class?" His reply: "Absolutely, in cattle class out of solidarity with all our holy cows." (12:17 AM Sep 15th from web in reply to Kanchan Gupta)" on Twitter to thousands of his followers ( in his words "audience")......, it was very shameful remark made by person like him.
Friends why could not he come-up with same statement which he made couple of days back..saying " he is having his luxury at his own cost...n not government's money" ...he 'ld have obviously said same even at this time, but instead he made very blunt n rash comment which is not at all sensible in ANYWAY. Recession or No recession, NO minister has right to spend public money for "self-luxury".
